Congrats to our Guard for scoring a 96 last Saturday at the Hoover Contest!! Itawamba had a 97 = top score of the day (too bad they happen to be in our class..hehe), and our 96 was the 2nd highest guard score of the whole day!!!
Superior Rating and 2nd all day = AWESOMENESS!!!!!
And now back to work please mams...

Friday to game = TBA
OG @ West Blocton report time is 4:45pm
Due to Early Departure for Atlanta, we will leave the game after our halftime performance and head back to Oak Grove. Students WILL NOT be allowed to check off the bus as this would defeat the purpose of getting our kids as rested as possible for our last competition of the year.
Reminders:
Students will need more money than usual as the cost of food in and around the Georgia Dome is very expensive.
We realize this departure time is not ideal, however, it is IMPORTANT that everyone please arrive for departure at the allotted time. WE CANNOT WAIT ON ANYONE FOR ANY REASON!!!
We have limited seats available for purchase and they will be sold for $25 on a first come, first serve basis. Please realize that if you purchase a seat on the bus, you will have to follow the band’s entire itinerary. Also, the location of that seat is at the Director’s discretion...note: because of the changing clothes situation our Guard bus will be girls/women only. Guard folks contact Donna or Rebecca ASAP if you want a bus seat!!!
Souvenirs and videos will be available for purchase at the Dome.

BOA GIFTING!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be doing one goodie bag per girl this year on the ride home from ATL. Each of the 36 girls are expected to bring something to put in the bags. Doesn't have to be a certain price or certain thing, just let your wallet be the guide on what you purchase...haha...and make sure you send 36 of whatever you choose.
HINT HINT...we have 4 Seniors who deserve special treatment!!
Please make sure your items are bagged or wrapped...don't just send bags full of stuff that we have to separate...we won't have time. We will put them together on Friday before we leave early that Saturday morning so please make sure you have your "goodies" sent to school on or before Friday.
Rebecca and I will furnish a cooler with drinks for the ride home & the bags.
