Thanks!!

Thanks for a wonderful 2010...looking forward to an even stronger 2011!!

Appreciate the wooden pallets that were left for wg by the band trailer...we think we have enough but will post if we find we need more.

Please don't forget that tryouts begin one week from today...girls must have their physical form, the off campus letter, and the responsibility form ready to go the first day...no more sitting out until those things get done. Not having all 3 forms means a girl will not be able to participate in tryouts.

Happy New Year!! Donna & Rebecca :0)

Can You Help?

The Winter Guard is in need of old wooden shipping pallets. Condition doesn't matter. Just need as many as we can find. If you have any laying around your garage or basement...or if your work place has them or you know of a work place that wouldn't mind giving some away...please get them for us and drop them off at school. You don't have to schedule a time just drop them off at your convienience around back by the band trailor. Anytime between now and Christmas day. Thanks!!

Rockettes!!!!

Field Trip Information!!!

Thursday - December 16, 2010

We will meet at Oak Grove First Baptist Church at 6:30am. Due to another event scheduled at the church, cars must park in the upper lot at back of church by the family life center. Bus will pickup in front. Please eat breakfast before you arrive OR bring your own breakfast bag & drink to enjoy on the ride that morning.

Dress for this trip is casual “Christmas Cute”...
this includes Tigs, Moms, Gmoms, and Sisters too!!

We will arrive at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel between 10-10:30am at which time folks can choose their own restaurant for lunch and other holiday activities offered in that area. (Sorry....Loveless Cafe' wouldn't accept a group of this size) We will have a couple of hours to spend at these activities before heading to the Grand Ole Opry House for the Rockettes Christmas show.

Money you sent in for this trip only paid for the charter bus and your ticket to the Rockettes show…you will need cash for lunch, fast food dinner, souvenirs and additional activities (if any) you decide to do while in the Opryland Hotel area. There are more than a dozen of the most distinctive boutiques, fashion stores, and retail shops on-site for shopping. There is also the “ICE” interactive world of colorful ice sculptures…featuring "Santa Claus is Coming To Town". FYI...tickets to "ICE" are $24 per person.

After the show, we will depart Nashville around 5pm with a fast food dinner stop on the way home. We should arrive at OG church around 10pm.

We had to arrange for two buses to get everyone there and back. We did not want to split the Tigs up...it's their trip...lol...so the bus assignments worked out this way...Bus 1 will carry all Tigerettes and the family members of girls in grades 10-12...Bus 2 will carry family members of girls in grades 7-9. The buses are filled, so everyone should plan on having a seatmate for the trip. Buses roll promptly at 7!!

One last exam reminder...Tigerettes are responsible for arranging to take any exams they have scheduled the day of the field trip. Exams must be taken care of before Christmas break, and it is the Tigerette's job to get it done.

One last safety reminder...Tigerettes are not permitted to "roam free" at the Opryland Hotel or during the Rockettes show. An adult should always be within eye and ear shot to help us avoid problems.

School rules apply.

We are sooooo excited and looking forward to a great day of fun with the girls and their moms/grandmoms/sisters!!!! Let's all put on our "Christmas Cute along with a big smile" and plan to have a wonderful time!!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!
