Christmas Party!!
Boosters are sponsoring this event!! Dress is Christmas Cute!!!
This Friday, December 4th, the Marching Band & Guard will have a Christmas Party/Dance at the Brooklane Community Center by North Highlands ballpark in Hueytown.
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Band/Guard member participation is expected!!
Due to the small size of the facility and security concerns this party is
ONLY for marching band & guard members and parent workers...
no siblings…no other guests permitted.
Boosters need parent help with decorating, food, clean up, and security. Parents interested in helping in any of those capacities must please text Jeff Totherow/960-2414 so he can add you to the list. Workers report at 5:30!!
Boosters are furnishing everything but food. The food plan for Band/Guard members and their parents is listed below...finger type foods only...
store bought items only...we need to feed 150 people :0)
Seniors = potato chips or tortilla chips & dips
Juniors = chicken fingers or nuggets & sauces
Sophomores = cookies & brownies
Freshmen = fruit items & dips
8th & 7th Grades = cakes & pies

Summit Parade!!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!
The Summit Parade is next Friday, November 20th. This is a REQUIRED event that requires proper documentation for an absence. Transportation to & from the parade is the responsibility of the parent.
Tigerettes will wear CANDY CANE COSTUMES over WHITE turtle neck, WHITE thick tights/leggings, WHITE socks, and WHITE ked like shoes. Full heavy makeup with red tint lips. Hair down, no clips, bands, pins...down straight or curled & just looking fabulous!!
Tigs can layer underneath for warmth if needed & must also have a clear dollar tree poncho with them in case of showers. All this stuff MUST come to school in a garment bag with the girls on the Friday morning of the parade.
We will practice today & tomorrow during 5th block and also next week Thursday & Friday during 5th block.
Girls will dress at school that Friday and then be released to Parent/Adult to head for the Summit at 2:30 so we are ahead of area school buses. Those with doctor confirmed injuries or illnesses will not attend the event.
Parade Report time in front of Barnes & Nobles is 5:00 p.m. Parents please keep in mind the always heavy traffic on 280 and plan afternoon snack or meal accordingly. Student drivers are not permitted. Parents will drop daugthers off at Barnes & Noble and then go park on the movie theater end by Toys R US for ease of dismissal at the end of the parade.
Any dinner or Hunger Games Part 2 movie plans made are at the discretion of Parents/Adults. We do ask that any plans made be inclusive of those involved...so not fun for any girl to hear talk about plans made that they are not included in!! #BeTheSolution
