Friday @ school..."Space Jam" is the theme this week!
Tigs come to school with hair up in space buns using neon braid to add color to buns. Wear black band show shirt untucked with athletic shoes. Glitter makeup if wanted but no facepaint and neon skirt or tutu over skinny jeans.
Bring Pep Dress, Black Dance Shorts, & Jazz shoes with you to school for pep rally...hair will be down & full makeup so bring items needed to make that happen.
Friday @ 3:05...all Tigs must leave campus & return at report time.
If you live too far away find a Tig who lives closer to buddy up with on Fridays.
Friday @ game...Report time is 6 pm...eat before you arrive...arrive fully dressed to perform!!
Tigs arrive Friday night wearing silver costume and jazz shoes (please purchase and wear tough type bandaids on heels...full makeup, hair down flatironed straight...bring guard bag containing gloves, poms, a solid black towel or small throw to sit on during the game...a stain stick and bug spray also come in handy.
We purchased and will have clear ponchos for the Tigerettes if it rains.
Other notes...
All attending the game Friday night at OGHS should expect to pay for parking and purchase an admission ticket.
Athletic Boosters are responsible for football program content.
We are super excited for you to see girls perform the changes to the first two parts of OLYMPUS at halftime. They have been working very hard and we hope you will be as thrilled with their efforts as we are. Please remember our show is a work in progress and honestly won't look totally clean & finished until October...please be patient with our work and positive with your comments during the season.

Game Week 1

Friday @ school...Hawaiian Theme...red & white leis have been purchased for Tigs to wear! Tigs will get leis Thursday afternoon and they MUST be worn all day at school on Friday.
Tigs come to school with hair flatironed straight in high pony, full makeup, dressed wearing "NEW BAND SHOW SHIRT" we will get this week with athletic shoe of choice/no sandals. No face or hair paint!!!
Tigs bring black guard bag to guard room Friday morning. In the guard bag must be the red rhinestone tank, black racerback sports bra, black dance shorts...proper undies with bodystocking and jazz shoes... makeup to refresh afterschool, hair down flatironed straight...also in guard bag gloves, silver poms, a solid black towel or small throw to sit on during the game...a stain stick and bug spray might also come in handy. (Bodystocking MUST be worn under the tank & dance shorts. Make sure undergarments remove all bounce/jiggle and leave no visible lines on body)

Tigerettes are required to ride the bus to the game. They may be checked off by their PARENT or by another ADULT TIG PARENT designated in writing BEFORE WE LEAVE OG. Phone calls & texts from parents will not be accepted...we must have a written note with parent signature. Tigs riding the bus home are NOT permitted to switch buses...they go to the game and return to the school on the same bus!! They MUST have a ride waiting on them at school when the buses return...we can't go home until they do!
Tigerettes are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times. In or out of uniform every choice made has a consequence. Do not jeopardize your reputation, or the reputation of our Guard, by participating in public displays of affection (PDA), ignore and do not respond to ugly talk or gestures. All school, band, guard rules apply at school events/activities. Pay attention, make sure your words and your actions stay positive at all times.
Tigerettes are required to be in the company of at least two other Guard members at all times at all rehearsals & games...both home & away...there is safety in numbers...safety from vultures and also safety from the rumor mill!!!

Please don’t forget that laps are required when Tigs are late or when they show up unprepared. We thank you in advance for being a responsible member and parent...arriving on time and having all items needed for rehearsal/games/contests/exhibitions. We also appreciate you all “not whining” when lack of preparation or time management sends a girl around the field.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation regarding policy issues and ask that you remember they are not intended to cause student/parent problems, but are put in place to help ensure the safety of participants & smooth operation of our group as a whole.

Water will be provided during the game but no other foods/drinks are permitted...and yes that means we can't drop by to give Tigs a sip or a bite of anything! So please make sure your daughter after game plan included something to eat.

Thursday practice 3-5 p.m.
Band/Guard members only in school buildings or on field during rehearsals...we will not be in the stadium for practice this week.
Parent/Guardian REQUIRED Booster Meeting Thursday night at 7 in the bandroom...adults only please!
Friday...Meet the Tigers...free event for family & friends 6-7 p.m. in the stadium.
Tigerettes must leave school at 3 to go home and dress for this event.
They are not permitted to stay on campus afterschool to hang out.
Tigerette Report time is 5:30 in the guard room. If you live too far away to meet the timeline find another Tig to go home with afterschool.
Arrive & be in warmup block fully dressed with silver poms in the guardroom at 5:30...no Tig bag needed.
Wear White OGHS Pep Dress, black dance shorts, tan jazz shoe with nude color/no show socks or footies if needed. Full game makeup, lip with red tint. Be careful with makeup and self tan products...so you don't stain the pep dress! Hair worn down & flatironed straight. Legs & Pits shaved please mams. Use losh!!
Dreamland Fundraiser due to Donna/Rebecca by 5th period next Monday...sell $25 or more OR pay a $20 buyout with money order...do not send cash!!

We obviously understand that illness or injury can't be avoided but we do ask that everyone do their best to avoid scheduling elective procedures during contest crunch time! Our normal illness/injury protocol is if a Tig is unable to perform they do not travel with the group nor on their own to games or events scheduled for the group.
and last but certainly not least...
7-12th Grade Tigs planning to take the ACT this fall must choose one or both of the following dates to avoid event conflicts...please note you need to late register ASAP for for the first one!!!
