Beach...
We did have enough interested and have moved forward with beach plans!! Parents who have girls involved should have received an email with more detailed info last week.
Spring Clinic...
Taking place this week...required!! Later this week the girls will bring home a list of things they have learned and need to work on this summer. As well the note will provide info about trying out for weapons, etc.
Private Lessons...
Former Tigerette Captain and former UA Guard member Dana Hampton is available this summer for private instruction. She is well versed in all areas of guard...flag, body, and weapons. The cost for private lessons is $20 CASH per hour per person with Dana coming to your home right in and around OGHS. The cost is $25 CASH per hour per person with Dana coming to homes requiring a longer drive time. Parents please contact Dana at 205-523-3390 if you are interested in arranging private lessons with her this summer.
Noted for clarity...anyone hiring Dana (or any other OG Grad) for private lessons understands the risk of injury and assumes all liability for accident or injury. The girls graciously offer to help out and will not be blamed or held responsible for accidents or injury. As well note that private lessons are optional...they are not required of any Tigerette. Taking private lessons from Dana (or anyone else) will not have influence as to which Tigerettes make the weapons line or primary flag line during summer band camp tryouts. Private lessons only serve to improve your skill level...they DO NOT GUARANTEE A SPOT!! We have many talented graduates who could be hired for the same purpose...at the same price...just call them and ask if you are interested!!

If your email or cell number changes during the summer please let us know so we can keep our contact info up to date. Watch for a band letter just after July 4th. Keep yourself caught up by checking the blog once each week. Anything urgent or requiring immediate attention would be sent via text.
