Girls will stay afterschool with Donna & Rebecca on Friday afternoon due to quick turn around and the gracious ChicFilA dinner provided by Wade Champman's family. Bigs will assist Middles and Littles...there will be no need for parents pop ins...we will see you all at Holt HS for the game!!
Girls will bring their loaded black sequin guard bag AND everything needed to dress for game with them on Friday MORNING...their bags MUST be brought to the Guard Room by the Tigerette BEFORE SCHOOL!! (it is not okay for parents to deliver things later in day or afterschool...we are working very hard to encourage student responsibility and independence)
Here is what is needed in the guard bag on Friday morning...SEQUIN UNIFORM OVER SEAMLESS UNDIES THAT REMOVE ALL LINES & SPANX TO FIRMLY REMOVE ALL BOUNCE & JIGGLE (WEAR BODY STOCKING), TAN JAZZ SHOES, HAIR DOWN & STRAIGHT WITH HAIR COLORED HEADBAND*, & MAKEUP WITH RED TINT LIP. POMS, BLACK TOWEL OR BLACK SMALL THIN BLACK THROW TO SIT ON (NO BLANKETS), CLEAR PONCHO FROM DOLLAR TREE, BUG SPRAY (DRY TYPE PLEASE), STAIN STICK/PEN...CHARGED CELL PHONE...FEM PRODUCTS...SMALL WALLET WITH CASH FOR CONCESSIONS. (Signed parent note to go with adult if that is needed for after the game)
DOUBLE LAPS REQUIRED FOR THINGS MISSING IN GUARD BAG!!
ps...handful of girls did not wear seamless undies last Friday and we had some lines that made our girls appear to have rolls...please make sure undergarments are seamless!!

Happy Monday All...hope you all had a great weekend!!
Some business to take care of as we head into the new week...having completed band camp, the first 12 days of school, and 2-3 events we must ask for everyone...girls & parents...to pay closer attention to details. We have had too many girls running laps for being late or forgetting items or wearing the wrong things, etc. We also have a few parents ignoring very simple guidelines we have in place. We are get too many texts with questions that prove girls and parents are not bothering to read their REMIND notifications or this weekly blog in a timely manner.
Please understand that we are all part of a large group and make sure you take care of all small details. If we say red tint lips that is what we mean...if we say the girls will not get up during the game that is exactly what we mean...if we say no parents in the school building or guard room that is what we mean. When small details are taken care of by our members and parents we have much more time (and mental ability) to focus on the success of the group as a whole...and that is what we are all here for right? We want the girls to be successful as individuals and also as part of a strong team.
So pleeeeeeeeeeease and THANK YOU for better attention to details down the road!!

Tigerettes are required to ride the bus to the game. They may be checked off by their PARENT or by another ADULT designated in writing by their parent at the end of the game. Tigs riding the bus home are NOT permitted to switch buses...they go to the game and return to the school on the same bus!! They MUST have a ride waiting on them at school when the buses return...we can't go home until they do!
Tigerettes are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times. In or out of uniform every choice made has a consequence. Do not jeopardize your reputation, or the reputation of our Guard, by participating in public displays of affection (PDA), ignore and do not respond to ugly talk or gestures. All school, band, guard rules apply at school events/activities. Pay attention, make sure your words and your actions stay positive at all times.
Tigerettes dress alike every Friday. Assigned dress is REQUIRED participation...all day...no exceptions. Make sure you listen 5th period to what the Seniors ask of you...again ...plan well, and do what is expected.
Before games and rehearsals...members are given a specific “report time”. TIGS are not permitted to stay on campus afterschool. All Tigs must leave campus and are not permitted to return to campus until 15 minutes prior to report time...no exceptions!! You can’t be on campus unsupervised. If you live too far to make it back you will need to find a friend who lives closer to go home with Friday afternoons. Bigs, Middles, Littles should be able to assist with this!
At games...Tigerettes have assigned seats in the stands and will remain in the correct order the entire time!! No food/drinks/gum/candy in the stands. NO APPLICATION OF MAKEUP OR HAIR PRODUCTS!!
Visitors to the band section are expected to speak and move on...Tigs have a job to do!
Restroom visits must be taken care of prior to game & during third quarter break...this is a privilege...NO PDA...you must be with two other Guard members on every break...home games, away games, contests...all the time!
Tigerettes always report back to the stands one minute prior to Band Director’s called time.
Tigerettes do not leave games/events early...they will be dismissed BY THE BUSES at the end of the game or event.
Tigerettes are required to be in the company of at least two other Guard members at all times at all rehearsals & games...both home & away...there is safety in numbers...safety from vultures and also safety from the rumor mill!!!
Students only in the bandroom and school buildings on Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday.
Please don’t forget that laps are required when Tigs are late or when they show up unprepared. We thank you in advance for being a responsible member and parent...arriving on time and having all items needed for rehearsal/games/contests/exhibitions. We also appreciate you all “not whining” when lack of preparation or time management sends a girl around the field.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation regarding policy issues and ask that you remember they are not intended to cause student/parent problems, but are put in place to help ensure the safety of participants & smooth operation of our group as a whole.
OTHER REMINDERS...
All should expect Spring Trip payments to begin October 3rd...we will get the info to you as soon as we have it. Payments will be $100 per person due on or before October 3rd.
Doctor’s excuses...a doc’s note is required for any rehearsal missed due to illness. We always follow doctor’s orders...without a doc’s release or instructions we can’t let you practice or perform.
Tigerette clothes/items...this is a repeat of instruction during summer camp...DO NOT wear or carry or alter any of our new items (uniform, costume, or pep) until your Directors instruct you to do so...we must keep everything fresh/new for this fall. Tigerettes are the only people who should be wearing Tigerette/Guard items.
Arriving & Leaving on time...make sure your parents and/or your ride know the correct times you are to arrive as well as the correct time to pick you up...again, we can’t go home til you do!!!
