Congrats to all Tigerettes who participated in the Miss OG Pageant...you all looked FAB!!! We had several girls who placed or won their grade level which was amazing, but we were oh so very proud of ALL OUR GIRLS ON STAGE!!!!!
Congrats to our Winter Guard for making finals at the WGI Regional in Nashville this past weekend!! Their next contest will be at Hoover HS on Saturday, March 10th. Congrats to Ashlyn Odom...she will be marching with the JSU Southerners next fall as a Ballerina!! Ashlyn tried out over the past few weeks and was one of only 12 new girls selected for the dance line at Jacksonville State University. The Ballerina program has a long tradition of excellence and we know Ashlyn will fit in just as other Tigerettes who perform on the college level have done!!! Jamie, Danielle, & Jessica also are awaiting college scholarship/tryout results and we can't wait to post those results here as well. So proud of all four Seniors!!!
Tigs involved in the Symphonic and Concert Band programs (grades 7-12) this winter will be attending MPA contest with their respective groups this week and the next. Band Directors have all the information. Tigerette Captain/Jessica Swann will tell the Guard Girls what to wear the day they travel...next year's Captains/Allison Salter & Kayla Simpson will assist Jessica in monitor group behavior as well. Please don't forget that all school, band, and guard rules apply while on a school sponsored field trip. See Mr. Henson or Mr. Adams for MPA details!!
