Thursday = 4th block rehearsal
Friday = last 4th block rehearsal before BOA ATL
Saturday = 5:45 a.m. report time

Chelsea Game is Thursday...report time TBA...wearing red uniforms.
Normal check off procedures apply.
Guard members MUST be here for 4th block rehearsal on Friday...checking in or not that day is totally up to parents.
Band is staying afterschool Friday until 4...GUARD IS NOT!!
Parents please see that your daughters get some rest Friday afternoon and night. Saturday will be a very long day for them and their performance will suffer if they are permitted to be out & about...then up all night Friday night.

Oak Grove HS Guard/BOA Schedule for Saturday, October 30, 2010
5:45 a.m. Report to OGHS wearing undergarments and
bodystocking under comfortable modest travel wear.
Have everything with you when you arrive!! Costumes
clean and on hanger. Shoes must be clean as well.
6:00 a.m. Depart for Atlanta...you will dress on the bus...bring
lite morning snacks..won’t eat until after performance.

12:30 p.m. BOA Prelim Performance!!!!
Following performance we will re-load the truck.
Guard will then change into clean Tryout T and nice jeans. Bring black cami if needed underneath and have a black belt. Any athletic shoes are fine to wear. Headband will remain in your hair the entire day to help “identify you” with our show and group...the only jacket you will wear is our black & rhinestone guard jacket...the only bag/purse you are permitted to carry is your new mesh...please make sure your cash/wallet and any small items needed for the day are in that one bag...you will get mesh bag this week.
1:30 p.m. Re-enter the Georgia Dome to watch bands/eat.
5:00 p.m. Prelim Awards Ceremony
Following the awards ceremony the Georgia Dome will be cleared. If we win our class we perform an exhibition and will stay for finals & the retreat medal ceremony. If we do not win our class we will head home with a fast food dinner stop enroute. Optional end of year “gifting” will be done on the bus on the way home...there are 31Tigerettes.
Finals = top bands that competed in prelims. We suggest parents purchase
prelim tickets only. If we are lucky enough to win and stay for finals parents
can decide at that point whether to buy & stay or not.
Guard members will NOT be permitted to check off the bus for this event!!
They will stay with the Guard group the entire day. They will be given cell phone breaks to check in with parents, but otherwise the cells will remain OFF and in mesh bag!! There will be tons of souvenir items and all types of food available...just remember you will be paying DOME prices which are DOME regulated and tend to be high end.

Concert Band and WG will begin sometime next week. Please locate your instrument and have it ready to begin when the Band Director says the word. Instructions for playoff gamedays will be posted here as soon as we have info.
